Built Up Roofing (BUR)

Built up roofing is a common roofing system used for flat or low-pitch roofs. It consists of multiple layers of fabric roofing panels sealed with asphalt. The roof is then covered with aggregate material (such a gravel or stone) for added protection. Built up roofing is cost-effective, durable, and typically lasts up to 40 years. Modern built out roofing’s may also include insulation layers. Overall, it creates a continuous sealed surface, making it suitable for low-slope roofs.
